The I’m A Celebrity 2017 contestants meals four stars after conquering the legendary Celebrity Cyclone Bushtucker Trial yesterday.
Cyclone is one of the ITV jungle show’s end-of-series traditions, having featured on all but one series since 2006.
However, this year’s celebs jumped the gun by assuming it would take place on Friday – and Toff became furious when it was suggested she wouldn’t be strong enough to face the full force of the challenge.
After Amir Khan became the latest campmate to be voted out yesterday, it was finally time for the remaining four to take on the Cyclone.
Dressed in superhero costumes, they arrived at a giant slippery slide, where Ant and Dec explained the rules of the fun challenge.
After standing on a turntable, the first player had to grab four giant stars, and proceed to the first marker on the slide.
The next player would take three stars from them and proceed to the second marker, and so on, until everyone was in position.
All four had to do their best to stay in place, withstanding torrents of water, powerful winds and flying debris.
Each celeb still in position when the ten-minute time limit expired would win their meal for the evening.
First, the team had to decide what order they’d play in. Jennie McAlpine went first, with Iain Lee second.
Toff got the chance to prove herself by going third, with Jamie Lomas fourth, meaning he’d be closest to the source of the cyclone.
Jennie struggled to reach her marker, moving slowly as she was splattered with water, paint and balls.
“She can’t even walk,” observed Ant.
Iain then made a dash for it, but had to turn back as one of the stars was blasted away.
Toff tumbled twice on the way to her marker, before it was Jamie’s turn to run up the slide – but he only managed to get so far before an epic flood of water was released.
Despite her early stumbles, Jennie managed to hold on as the other three were sent flying back to the start.
They faced a mad dash to return to their positions in time, with Jamie headbutting a giant ball out of the way.
Eventually, the celebs were all on their markers in time for the final klaxon, meaning they won all four meals.
“Can we go again? That was brilliant!” exclaimed Iain. “That was a great rehearsal, now let’s do one!”
“That was amazing, the best thing I’ve ever done,” agreed Toff.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! concludes with its grand final tomorrow at 9.00pm on ITV.
