The reality star is newly single following his split from former CBB housemate Stephanie Pratt.
According to The Sun, Jonny has been signed up by Channel 5 as one of the male celebs for Celebrity Big Brother on Friday night.
"Jonny is going to be a big hit on the show," a TV insider claimed.
“Viewers really enjoyed watching him on Love Island this summer and clearly there’s still more to see from Jonny.
“His split from Stephanie Pratt was a major factor in Channel 5 booking him for the new series.
“He is guaranteed to bring some drama to the house. And to romance one of the female contestants.”
Celebrity Big Brother launched last night with an all female cast to start the series.
Those making up the current line up are former MP Ann Widdecombe, Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Malika Haqq, Boris Johnson's sister Rachel Johnson, Ex On The Beach star Jess Impiazzi, actress Amanda Barrie, Made In Chelsea's Ashley James, newsreader India Willoughby and former Detective Constable Maggie Oliver, known for her work investigating the Rochdale grooming scandal.
Show bosses have said that the women led show will be marking 100 years since women won the right to vote for the very first time.
Presented by Emma Willis, Celebrity Big Brother will initially explore how the all-female housemates interact, from politicians to performing artists, as they enter the house together.
When the male celebrities join, the housemates will take part in a series of "entertaining tasks and hidden experiments".
Alongside Jonny, other men tipped for the show include US R&B star Ginuwine and The Apprentice candidate Andrew Brady.
The first confirmed male housemate is famous footballer John Barnes. It was confirmed on Bit On The Side that John would be joining the house alongside other men on Friday night.
Celebrity Big Brother 2018 continues nightly on Channel 5.
