Dennis Wise and Jamie Lomas won a middling six meals for their campmates when they were trapped in the 'Tortuous Tanks' for yesterday's I'm A Celebrity 2017 Bushtucker Trial.
Now viewers are voting to determine the ITV jungle show's elimination results, it's up to the celebs themselves to decide who takes part in each Trial.
Once they'd heard the name of the latest food challenge, Tortuous Tanks, Iain Lee ruled himself out, correctly suspecting there would be water involved.
Dennis volunteered for what would be his first Trial, before Rebekah Vardy suggested the group choose the "people who are most confident".
Although Jamie had taken part the day before, he put himself forward, asking: "Everyone alright with that?"
With no objections raised, the Hollyoaks actor gave Dennis a hug to cement their partnership.
At the Trial clearing, Ant and Dec explained that they'd be placed in tanks, similarly to the earlier Flushed Out challenge.
As the chambers filled up with water, Dennis and Jamie had to use keys to unlock ten corresponding coloured stars.
However, the keys were mixed up between both tanks, meaning the lads had to pass them back and forth to work out which ones fit the right padlocks.
Dennis and Jamie were joined by mud crabs and yabbis as a klaxon sounded to kick off their ten-minute time limit.
They began by trying the keys in their own tanks, but soon found they weren't working.
The water levels continued to rise, and crocodiles were dropped in, with Ant noticing one taking a liking to Jamie's crotch.
"Ooh, he’s very close to your little friend," laughed the presenter.
Water python snakes also slithered in to the tanks as the duo continued to struggle with the locks.
Eventually their time ran out, and they emerged from the depths with six of a possible ten meals for the celebs.
"In the end, six is okay, it feeds some mouths, and that's what we need to do," Dennis commented.
I'm A Celebrity continues tomorrow at 9.00pm on ITV.
