Elizabeth McKenna has been rumoured as Celebrity Big Brother’s next token housemate from The Apprentice.
Katie Hopkins, Karthik Nagesan, Jessica Cunningham and James Hill are just a few of the former candidates from the BBC One show to join Celebrity Big Brother in the past.
And Elizabeth McKenna – who was fired BBC One series at the interview stages – could be next.
Responding to the rumours ahead of launch night, Elizabeth wouldn’t confirm or deny anything.
She said after her exit to DigitalSpy: “I would consider it.
“I’m a huge fan of Celebrity Big Brother and it’s flattering to be thought of in that way.”
In a chat with OK! Magazine, she added of potentially living in the CBB house: “The snoring would really bother me!”
Wacky Elizabeth proved a fan favourite on Lord Sugar’s latest business series, and has the backing of Bit On The Side’s Rylan Clark-Neal.
“I’m going to say it, and I have no power, but if she doesn’t become a housemate on Big Brother very soon I will not be happy,” Rylan told ITV’s This Morning.
He added: “She would be one of my ultimate housemates.”
Whether or not we do see Elizabeth in the Celebrity Big Brother house soon remains to be seen.
The new series of Celebrity Big Brother will start on Tuesday night with an all women cast. Men will join them later, in a series which promises to ‘challenge gender stereotypes’.
Ahead of the start date, Channel 5 has already confirmed the first celebrity on the line up as Boris Johnson’s sister Rachel Johnson.
Women rumoured to be joining Rachel on the cast next month include actress Amanda Barrie, ITV newsreader India Willoughby, Tattoo Fixers star Paisley Billings and Made In Chelsea’s Ashley James.
It was previously suggested that Channel 5 were after a ‘classy’ line up of stars for the new series.
Celebrity Big Brother will air on Channel 5 from January 2.
