Strictly Come Dancing 2017: Mollie King favourite to miss out on the semi-finals

Mollie King is the tip to leave Strictly Come Dancing next.

Meanwhile, Joe McFadden is the current favourite to win ahead of the quarter-finals this year.

With a semi-final spot within reaching distance no one will want to be the one to go home this weekend.

Unfortunately it looks as though Saturdays’ Mollie King may be booted from the show as she heads the betting as the firm 4/6 favourite. Davood Ghadami is next in the betting but at the bigger price of 3/1.

Joe McFadden goes into the quarter-finals as the new sole favourite to take home the Glitterball trophy. The Holby City star was slashed from 7/2 to the joint 12/5 favourite alongside Debbie McGee after he topped the leaderbaord last weekend, but Debbie has since been eased out to 11/4 seeing him head the betting alone.

Alexandra Burke’s dance off stint will hang over her in the quarter-finals, leaving her with a lot to prove as she lies third in the betting at 7/2.

Aoife Heffron, Spokeswoman for BoyleSports commented “Mollie King is the red hot favourite at 4/6 to miss out on a semi-final spot in Strictly this weekend, however we have once again seen one of the favourites to win, Alexandra Burke, in the dance off so anything could happen this weekend.”

She added “Joe McFadden has taken over as the favourite to win after Debbie McGee drifted out to 11/4 from her joint 12/5 favourite status alongside Joe. He has certainly shown the most progression in his performances each week and is set for a Samba this weekend, which is beneficial as he performs better with up-tempo dances.”
