There was fury in the jungle after Iain admitted that he and Amir had kept a plate of strawberries and cream they'd won in a Dingo Dollar Challenge for themselves.
However, while the radio host took most of the blame, the other celebs failed to realise it was actually the boxer who came up with the idea.
Jamie Lomas demonstrated this yesterday when he spoke to Jennie McAlpine, accusing Iain of "playing a game" - and insisting Amir was innocent.
"Iain has caused a rift in this camp and is trying to drag Amir into it," the Hollyoaks actor claimed. "Amir wouldn’t do that, he’s not that kind of kid."
Jennie wasn't so sure, responding: "Yeah, but Iain didn’t come straight away and say they both did it, he just said he did it.
"He was going to take all the blame, that’s what it seemed like."
Later, as Jamie was clowning around with Amir, a glum Iain sat by the fire feeling left out.
"I’m a little bit disappointed that Amir’s been welcomed back with open arms and I’m the shunned one," he said in the Bush Telegraph.
"Everyone thinks strawberry-gate was my idea and I led Amir into it."
Iain eventually revealed the truth to Shappi Khorsandi as they took a walk to the top of the camp.
"I’m really sorry about what happened yesterday, it was Amir’s idea," he said.
"Oh, it was Amir’s idea? I blamed you!" exclaimed Shappi.
"It was Amir’s idea and he had most of them," Iain explained. "We joked about it for half an hour, and then we did it.
"What’s annoying me slightly is that I told Amir I couldn’t live with it. This is why I said it was me, because I told Amir I needed to confess to something. I’m accepting my guilt."
Shappi then shared the gossip with Jennie and Vanessa White, who were surprised by the new information.
The comedian sympathised with Iain, pointing out that he doesn't have the relationship with the lads that Amir enjoys.
"It was a lose-lose situation, whether he had instigated the prank or not," she said.
