Strictly Come Dancing 2017: There's a new favourite to win

There's a brand new favourite to win Strictly Come Dancing 2017.

After scoring top marks over the weekend, Joe is quickstepping his way towards Strictly success

Joe is peaking at the right time in the Strictly Come Dancing outright winner market, according to Ladbrokes.

After topping the leaderboard in week 10, the Holby City actor has seen his odds of winning tumble.

The Holby City star has seen his odds slashed to just 9/4 after a flurry of bets over the last few days, meaning he's leapfrogged Debbie McGee (5/2) and Alexandra Burke (7/2) into favouritism.

And it looks unlikely the Glitter Ball trophy will be heading away from the leading trio, with the chasing pack currently priced at 6/1 or bigger for this year's crown.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "Sudden interest in Joe has seen the odds at the head of the market change in a heartbeat, and it looks as though the Scot may have peaked at just the right time."
