Iain Lee had been the camp leader after beating fellow latecomer Kezia Dugdale in a head-to-head Bushtucker Trial earlier this week.

The radio DJ and his assistant Shappi Khorsandi were relieved of their titles yesterday, and a new election was held for their successors.

This time, the ITV show held a public vote to decide who would move in to 10 Downing Creek. Iain and Shappi were not eligible to be chosen for a second term.

Former Labour leader Kezia revealed the results, announcing that Stanley had topped the vote and would become the Prime Minister.

Kez congratulated her Tory rival, seemingly joking about his son Boris Johnson’s rumoured interest of moving in to the real Number 10.

“You’ve been trying so hard as a family and you’ve done it,” she quipped.

Meanwhile, as she came second in the viewer poll, Toff was named the new Deputy Prime Minister.

“Thank you very much public,” Stanley said. “My administration will probably be very short, very feeble, but we’ll do our best.

“Obviously as PM, I’m for all the creek, not just the few.”

Stanley and Toff’s first task in the jungle administration was to allocate the chores.

Jennie McAlpine and Rebekah Vardy remained the cooks, Jamie Lomas and Vanessa White were designated the washing up, and Kez, Amir Khan and Dennis Wise joined forces on camp maintenance.

However, Iain and Shappi went from the top jobs to dunny duty after they became the new cleaners.

“They seemed nice, so cuddly, but they immediately appointed the outgoing leaders the dunny cleaners,” Shappi grumbled.

Jamie predicting would be a “great Prime Minister”, while Dennis urged him: “Don’t take no s**t.”

“Well, that goes in the dunny and it gets emptied,” joked Stanley, to laughs from the campmates.
