Strictly Come Dancing Quarter Final to be a Musicals themed special

Strictly Come Dancing goes musical for its Quarter Finals live show next weekend.

Tonight’s latest results saw Susan Calman and her pro partner Kevin Clifton become the latest to be voted off Strictly.

Their exit, against Alexandra Burke in the dance-off, leaves a total of six celebrity couples competing.

It’s the Quarter Finals and there will be a special theme.

Next weekend, it’s time to face the music and dance! Borehamwood meets Broadway this week as Strictly Come Dancing goes to the musicals.

Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman will welcome the celebrities back to the floor as the six remaining couples perform a host of dancing routines from hit stage shows, in a bid to guarantee their spot in the competition as the final draws near.

Always ready to critique the couples are the awesome foursome are judges Shirley Ballas, Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood.

The voting lines will then open and it is down to the public to save their favourite couple from the feared dance-off.

Those left in the competition right now are Mollie King & AJ Pritchard and Alexandra Burke & Gorka Marquez.

Also still competing are Debbie McGee, & Giovanni Pernice and Gemma Atkinson & Aljaž Škorjanec.

Finally, rounding off the pairs are Davood Ghadami & Nadiya Bychkova and Joe McFadden & Katya Jones.

Strictly Come Dancing 2017 continues with the remaining six couples next weekend on BBC One.

Strictly Come Dancing’s Quarter Final musical special airs on Saturday night, BBC One from 7:05PM.

Then on the Sunday, once again another celebrity couple will be voted off to leave just 5 contenders in the semi-finals.
