Why Rebekah Vardy (Becky) has been ruled out of the latest I'm A Celebrity bush tucker trial has been revealed.

In tonight's show, lines opened for viewers to choose a candidate for the next bushtucker trial.

The drinking challenge will see two celebs having to down disgusting cocktails.

But once again not all of the celebs were eligible, with Rebekah Vardy ruled out on medical grounds.

It's the third time Rebekah hasn't been eligible to take part in a vote, after also being ruled out of past water-based trials.

Now why Rebekah was ruled out of the trials has been revealed.

Her celeb pal and fellow former jungle star Nicola McLean explained: “Becky is allergic to shellfish.

"Obviously they are conscious of campmates’ health, so they allergy test you and I know she has come back allergic to shell fish, so they won’t let her do any fish-based activity.”

She told The Sun newspaper: “It’s such a shame as she would have been brilliant at it.

“I know swimming with fish won’t kill her but it’s all health and safety first.”

Meanwhile, tonight saw Rebekah also ruled out of the latest task despite being voted for by the public.

She was take out of the trial by Medic Bob before it began after complaining of stomach cramps.

Kez took on the challenge in her place, winning 5 stars with Stanley Johnson.
