The realities of life in the I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! jungle are dawning on this year's campmates, who have begun complaining about their "honking pits".

The ITV jungle show is known for its glorious waterfall shower, which has been the scene of many bikini shots over the years.

However, thanks to the lack of everyday supplies, it doesn't do much to help the hygiene levels in camp, which Georgia 'Toff' Toffolo spoke about in tonight's episode.

"When I open my eyes I’m in awe of everything I see here," she observed. "Then my mind comes back to what’s going on.

"The honking pits, soggy sleeping bags and just the general stinking smell that radiates off me.

"It doesn’t matter as I’m waking up in the Jungle."

Dennis Wise also admitted that he "still smells", even after joining Jamie Lomas for a wash.

"Everyone has their own hygiene level and this morning Jamie and I went off to have a shower," said the footballer.

"After a couple of days it can really start to chuck up at bit to be honest."

"We're all getting stinky, we're all trying to wash," added Jennie McAlpine. "I haven't!"

Meanwhile, Amir Khan - who claims he's never watched I'm A Celebrity before - was shocked to find out that the producers don't provide deodorant.

Toff claimed: "We have got a roll-on."

"No we haven’t," replied Amir, prompting the Made In Chelsea star to chuckle.

Discussing the situation in the Bush Telegraph, Amir remarked: "I looked in my bag and I can’t find any deodorant. I don’t smell anyway."

I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 2017 airs nightly on ITV.
