Strictly Come Dancing 2017: There's a new favourite to win

There's a new favourite to win Strictly Come Dancing 2017 after Blackpool weekend.

It was Jonnie Peacock who was voted off Strictly Come Dancing 2017 at the weekend.

He was in the dance off against Debbie McGee, who had been the favourite to win.

The bottom two was a big surprise, following just after Aston Merrygold's shock exit the week before.

Unlike Aston, Debbie survived the dance off but she's now lost her place as the favourite to take the Glitterball trophy in next weekend's final.

Alexandra is back as the favourite to win this year's Strictly Come Dancing, after being behind Debbie McGee in the betting for weeks.

A table-topping score of 39 has forced bookies Ladbrokes to trim odds of her winning to just 2/1, meaning she's leapfrogged Debbie into favouritism in what now looks to be a two-horse race for the Glitter Ball trophy.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "A weekend by the Blackpool sea has seen the tide turn once again at the head of the market, with Alexandra now looking the most likely celeb to go all the way this year."
