Gemma Atkinson had a wardrobe malfunction on tonight's Strictly Come Dancing 2017.

Tonight Strictly hit Week 8 of the competition and the pressure was on after last week's shock dance off.

Plus, a spot in next weekend's Blackpool special was up for grabs.

Once again deciding who was on top form this evening were judges Shirley Ballas, Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood, who scored the remaining celebrity couples.

Gemma and Aljaz performed a Viennese Waltz to You Don’t Have To Say You Love Me by Brenda Lee.

However there was major drama when her shoe began to fall off and got tangled in her dress during the performance.

Shirley told Gemma it was "not her best dance" after the latest routine.

Bruno advised: "You have to express, look at him, you've got Aljaz, you're not holding a laundry basket! If you go wrong, it doesn't matter.

"Keep playing the part. I always say, it's performing arts. The performance is as important as the technique, let it out!"

Craig added: "I did feel you were struggling to keep up and it seemed a bit rushed. All the steps were there but it lacked emotion in the body."

And Darcey concluded: "I can see that was difficult for you, it did show but not bad."

When it came to the scores, Gemma had a total of 28 with sevens from all the judges.
