Is Strictly Come Dancing going to Blackpool in 2018? You bet - and here's exactly when.

Strictly Come Dancing returns to the home of ballroom this November as BBC One's dancing competition embarks on its annual pilgrimage to the world famous Blackpool Tower.

For one week only, Strictly packs its sparkly suitcases and relocates to Blackpool as the show is broadcast live from the world famous Blackpool Tower Ballroom.

Strictly Blackpool 2018 date

We know the date Strictly's Blackpool special will be taking place is Saturday, November 17.

The start time on TV has now been confirmed for 6.45pm to 8.10pm.

Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman will oversee proceedings as the eight remaining couples take to the floor.

Expect lots of magical moments as presenters Tess and Claudia are joined by the remaining celebrities and their professional partners, as well as the awesome foursome judging panel of Shirley Ballas, Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood.

The main show will kick off with a grand group performance fit to fill the massive Tower ballroom, and the stakes are high as our celebrities and their professional partners are feeling the pressure as the Glitter Ball trophy is in sight and the Grand Final approaching.

Those currently left on the Strictly 2018 line up this year are Steps star Faye Tozer, YouTube star Joe Sugg and England cricketer Graeme Swann.

Joining them are BBC Three documentary maker Stacey Dooley, Pussycat Dolls singer Ashley Roberts and BBC News journalist Kate Silverton.

Rounding off the current cast are Paratriathlete Lauren Steadman and Casualty actor Charles Venn.
