Ruth Langsford's time on Strictly Come Dancing looks to be nearing its end.

Ruth in danger of Strictly elimination this weekend as she heads the betting as the 6/4 favourite to be sent packing.

Davood Ghadami could also be in hot water this weekend and will need to impress with his American Smooth on Saturday if he is to defy his 2/1 second favourite elimination odds.

And after scoring just 18 for her Foxtrot, Susan Calman is third in line for the chop at 7/2.

However at the other end, it is now a two horse race for the Glitterball trophy as Aston Merrygold and Alexandra Burke are new joint 9/4 favourites to win.

Both Alexandra and Aston have shortened off the back of support from punters since Monday when Alexandra was the 12/5 favourite off the back of the Halloween weekend performances whilst Aston Merrygold was in her shadow slightly at 5/2.

The move for the two former X Factor stars means that this weekend’s scores will determine who will be the sole favourite to win.

Aoife Heffron, Spokeswoman for BoyleSports commented, “There are three celebrities that should be worrying about elimination this weekend, Ruth, Davood and Susan. Ruth is the favourite to go, but has a strong fanbase that could see either Davood or Susan get the boot instead.”

She added, “Alexandra and Aston are now head-to-head for the Glitterball trophy as they both have been cut to 9/4. Both have been strong contenders throughout the show so far, but this weekend could be the deciding factor as they go into it on level ground.”

Who will leave Strictly next?

Ruth Langsford 6/4
Davood Ghadami 2/1
Susan Calman 7/2
Mollie King 8/1
Jonnie Peacock 8/1
