As Strictly Come Dancing enters its fifth week, the pressure is on for the celebrities to perform as yet another elimination looms.
Simon Rimmer is the current 11/8 favourite to be sent packing this weekend as he continues to hog the bottom of the leaderboard.
Despite a recent improvement from Brian Conley, who scored a personal best of 22 for his American Smooth, he remains in danger of the chop as the 2/1 second favourite.
Ruth Langsford is next at 5/1 with fan favourite Susan Calman, who has suffered a knee injury, an 8/11 shot to be eliminated.
Davood Ghadami featured in the dance-off against the now eliminated Charlotte Hawkins last week, and is priced at 10/1 to get the boot. His price may seem somewhat safe, but having been a 33/1 shot for elimination for the past four weeks, it shows how a stint in the dance-off can be damaging.
Aoife Heffron, Spokeswoman for BoyleSports commented “Simon Rimmer has been hanging on by a thread since week one and this could be the week his time on Strictly comes to an end. As the rest of the celebrities begin to show improvements, Simon’s performances continue to fall flat unfortunately.”
She added “Davood has taken a hit off the back of his dance-off appearance last week and although 10/1 for elimination, it’s a far cry from his outsider 33/1 price in previous weeks.”
Meanwhile, Alexandra Burke has become the new favourite to win, overtaking former X Factor rival Aston Merrygold.
Strictly Come Dancing 2017's live performances aired last night at 6:35PM on BBC One and continues tonight (Sunday) at 7:15PM with the results show.
