Amelia Lily says things are over between her and Sam Thompson following Celebrity Big Brother.
The pair enjoyed a brief fling on the show which carried on outside the house – for a while.
Now Amelia says the pair no longer talk, confirming that there’s no potential for a long-term relationship.
“We don’t speak,” Amelia told new! magazine this week. “Everything’s fine, but I guess it was just the wrong timing. He’s a lovely guy.”
Asked if they were still friends, Amelia replied: “I don’t know! I think so. As far as I’m aware, we are. Like, he’s really busy being in Made In Chelsea and I’m really busy doing my thing.
“But I always said that I would have time for him in my life.”
News of Amelia and Sam’s ‘split’ has already prompted talk of her joining the next series of Celebs Go Dating.
Dating agent Nadia Essex, who appears on the E4 show, told The Sun newspaper: “Amelia would love to appear in the next series of Celebs Go Dating. I met her the other night and she is lovely.
“Her fling with Sam Thompson is officially over. She would be quite a good candidate to join the agency – she would be great.”
Nadia predicted Amelia would make a “really good client” and explained: “She’s just a nice girl. I knew straight away that she and Sam weren’t suited for each other in any way shape or form.
“And the minute it came out and I knew they were dating I thought ‘Oh, that will last 5 minutes’. It did.”
Series 3 of Celebs Go Dating concluded last month on E4 with a range of celebs including TV presenter Sarah-Jane Crawford and Amelia’s fellow former X Factor star Frankie Cocozza.
