It’s the semi-final of the Great British Bake Off, and the four remaining bakers are all desperate to claim their place in the final. The remaining bakers know they are just three challenges away from the biggest day in their baking lives.

Who has the skill to reach the Bake Off Final and who will leave the tent?

Kate, Steven, Sophie and Stacey are all still in the running to be crowned the Great British bake Off 2017 winner.

But tonight one of them will say goodbye to the tent and just miss out on a spot in next week’s final.

Before judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith make any decisions, three more challenges await.

And after the somewhat bizarre themed weeks over the past few months, tonight is something very traditional: Patisseries.

First comes the signature, and there’s no business like choux business as the bakers must get to work on producing 24 exquisite choux buns.

Prue has set the penultimate technical challenge and it’s complex complex one for her first semi-final that leaves everyone stumped.

It’s then on to the big show-stopper and the last chance the bake off contestants have to impress Paul and Prue before they decide on the finalists.

Each of the four remaining bakers are given a challenge to create a meringue sculpture showstopper where the bakers must not crack under pressure.

Which of the bakers will impress Prue and Paul enough to make it into the final three and who will be next to leave the tent?
