Strictly Come Dancing had almost twice as many viewers as X Factor last night.
It's despite the ITV series getting a head start on its rival for the first time this year.
It was the third Sunday that the two shows went head to head, as Strictly aired its latest results show.
The pre-recorded episode between 7:15PM and 8PM averaged 9.5 million viewers, down slightly on Saturday's live performance show as usual, but up 500,000 viewers on last weekend and up 400,000 on last year's equivalent results episode.
A peak audience of 10.1 million were watching when who left Strictly Come Dancing next was revealed.
The X Factor meanwhile kicked off its final six chair challenge episode before Strictly, running between 7PM and 9PM. The episode averaged 5.3 million viewers.
It was down 200,000 viewers on Saturday's show and 400,000 up on last Sunday's episode, however the numbers for the latest stage remain up on the recent bootcamp shows.
Strictly and X Factor will avoid a clash next Saturday night for the first time this year. Strictly runs 6:35PM - 8:20PM while X Factor airs 8:20PM - 10:20PM.
However on the Sunday, Strictly's results air 7:15PM - 8PM while X Factor will again run betweet 7PM-9PM.
Elsewhere in last night's viewing figures, in the 9PM slot, Victoria was steady in viewers week-on-week to end its second series with 4.7 million viewers.
It was again more than new BBC One drama series The Last Post, which was also level week-on-week with 3.9 million viewers.
Earlier on BBC One, Countryfile was the most watched show of the day across all channels after Strictly with 6.7 million viewers.
