This Saturday and Sunday night is Strictly’s traditional movie themed special.

There will be a group number from the professional dancers and a musical performance from Sheridan Smith performing My Man from the movie Funny Girl.

“For one night only! @Sheridansmith1 joins our #Strictly ‘Movie Week’ Results Show to perform ‘My Man’ from Funny Girl ? ?,” the official Strictly Twitter account confirmed.

This week it’ll be a case of lights, camera, action as Hollywood glamour comes to the ballroom when Strictly Come Dancing glides into movie week.

After saying goodbye to the first couple last weekend, the remaining celebrities and their professional dancers are feeling the pressure.

Hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman host as the fabulous 14 couples get ready for their close-ups as they perform routines inspired by some of the greatest films of all time (and hope to impress the judges, Shirley Ballas, Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood).

The judges will score each performance out of ten before the vote lines open at the end of the show, and viewers at home can have their say and vote for their favourite couple.

Sadly another couple will have to leave the competition in the Results Show – and no-one wants their Strictly experience to end.

Tess and Claudia return to host the results on Sunday as the 14 remaining couples hear their fate. The public votes will be added to the judges’ scores, leaving the two couples with the lowest combined scores to face each other in the dreaded dance off.

The judges’ will then have to decide who to save and who to send home. Head Judge Shirley Ballas will have the casting vote in the event of a tie-break.

Strictly Come Dancing airs Saturday, 6:35PM and Sunday at 7:15PM on BBC One.
