Love Island’s Caroline Flack laughs off Mike Thalassitis romance rumours

Love Island’s Caroline Flack has laughed off rumours of a romance between her and Mike Thalassitis.

As winners Kem and Amber celebrated their £50,000 prize earlier this year, cosy pictures of ‘Muggy Mike’ and Love Island host Caroline were doing the rounds online.

And some fans were sure the pair had secretly become an item.

“Appaz they’re together,” claimed one user online earlier this year. Another added: “Not the first huggy from muggy she’s had haha, deffo something there.”

And according to tabloid rumours, Caroline and Mike flirted up a storm during the show’s reunion party in the summer.

Caroline is quizzed on the speculation in Alan Carr’s upcoming New Year’s Eve special.

Alan asks: “Now listen, I read in the newspapers that there were a few flirty texts between you and Muggy Mike? Do I hear the pitter-patter of Little Muggy Flacks?”

“No, but I’ll tell you what. He is so fit,” Caroline replies. “Right, he is fit in pictures, but in the flesh and you see him close up.”

She adds: “He is a beautiful man. But no, all very professional.”

Caroline had previously laughed off the suggestion she and Mike were together.

“Oh my god,” she told Fabulous magazine. “I’m not talking about bloody Muggy Mike! Do you honestly think if I was having an affair with Mike I would put it on Instagram?”

Caroline continued: “We’re friends. I’m friends with all of the contestants. They’re like my little brothers and sisters.

“And I do like being a bit protective over them because it’s turned into something much more than the first series.”

She added: “Now they come out and they’re the top story on all the different websites and it’s a big change for them.”

Love Island will return in 2018 on ITV2 for Series 4.
