Montana Brown has landed a TV presenting gig following Love Island 2017.

Following Love Island winners Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies’ hosting stint on ITV’s Good Morning Britain, Montana has scooped her own deal with MTV.

The Sun reports that she will be fronting MTV News, following in the footsteps of the likes of Laura Whitmore and Zane Lowe.

A source told the tabloid: “Montana’s been very committed to not just being a run-of-the-mill reality star, so to have bagged this is great news, she’s over the moon and can’t wait to start.”

Montana previously admitted she had only gone on the show to launch a media career.

Following July’s final, Montana made an appearance on ITV’s Loose Women and revealed: “I just thought it would be a really good platform for me to do what I want to do. I don’t know what that is yet, but I just thought it would open some doors and maybe some opportunities as well.”

She added: “To be in the public eye, I feel like it gives you a great platform to influence the public in a good way.”

According to The Sun newspaper, Montana had signed a big deal with a top talent agency to launch her career after the final.

A source told the tabloid: previously “Unlike many of the other Love Island contestants Montana is determined to keep the projects she chooses classy. She wants to forge a glowing telly presenting to career so turned down offers from reality TV agents and followed the stars.

“Montana feels she is something really special and has aimed high. She has dreams of her own talk show aimed at younger people so wants the best management team possible around her.”

As well as TV presenting, Montana is also apparently planning on launching her own clothes range.

Love Island will return in 2018 on ITV2 for its fourth series.
