The X Factor 2017 was watched by 6.4 million viewers last night.
The fourth round of auditions was up on Saturday’s show which had 5.6 million viewers as it clashed with Strictly Come Dancing.
The second Sunday episode of the new series was down slightly week-on-week by 100,000 viewers and down around 1.2 million viewers on 2016.
The X Factor was the most watched show of the day, with Coronation Street averaging 5.7 million just before – up 400,000 on last week.
In the 9PM slot, Victoria rose for a second week in a row, climbing to 4.4 million viewers for its third episode.
However, BBC One’s Strike won in the 9PM slot with 5.6 million viewers as it started its second mini-series.
