A model who dated Calum Best has revealed the secrets of Celebs Go Dating 2017.

We saw Naomi Faith enjoying a night out with Calum on the E4 series earlier this week.

Now she’s spilled all about what goes on behind the scenes of the show, starting with the lengthy casting process.

“I saw a link on Facebook and I just thought I’d like to meet new people so I just applied for it,” she recalled. “I got the call to be cast for it and had to have an interview and do a selfie video and stuff like that which obviously all went really well.

“I filled out a form online and I had a call from them and I had a Facetime interview with one of the casting members, then I went up there.”

After a number of casting rounds, Naomi was invited to the first singles mixer were she met dating agents Eden and Nadia for the first time.

She told The Sun newspaper: “They’re not pushy at all – they were like ‘just be yourself and enjoy it’. They were a really good team to work with.

“Really relaxed and we all met before and they took us down to the mixer and it was all mic’d up and they let us get on with it.”

Naomi spilled on how the non-celebs are restricted from drinking but the celebs could have as much as they wanted.

“You were allowed just a bit of wine,” she explained. “Celebs were allowed to have spirits and stuff like that. You see Toff have a shot – but we weren’t. We weren’t allowed to go up to the bar and do that.”

As for her date with Calum, despite the cameras, Naomi insisted it was all very “genuine”

“When we were out for dinner he put his coat around me when it was raining – he just acted really lovely. Really nice,” she said. “And he wasn’t too stand-offish which I think is really nice as well – he talked to you as if you’d known him for ages.”

And Naomi teased: “We have spoken since the show.”

Celebs Go Dating 2017 airs weeknights at 10PM on E4.
