Calum Best has been branded a ‘fake’ by some fans of Celebs Go Dating.

However others are begging for the chance to be set up with the model on the E4 series.

It’s fair to say that following the first few episodes of the new E4 series, Calum has definitely split opinion.

“Everything about Calum Best is fake as hell on tv. It’s all just a ‘nice’ show for the cameras and his career. #notbuyingit #CelebsGoDating,” one critical tweet read.

Another added: “Calum Best is just NOT real!!!!! Sooo Fake!! That’s his biggest problem #CelebsGoDating”

But other viewers described him as “perfect”.

“Wow celebs go dating has got me wanting that date with Calum best 😭 too cuteeeeee” one fan wrote.

“I fancy Calum Best so much😦 perfect first date 🙄,” a second agreed.

Dating agent Nadia Essex previously revealed that finding Calum a match proved difficult.

Speaking on Sunday Brunch, Nadia explained: “[Calum] was one of the worst the reason is, he gets so many girls that he thinks he doesn’t have to try, to learn.

“So he came in with all the banter, all the chat, and literally the first few dates are horrendous because he just can’t get it together.”

Alongside Calum, other celebrities taking part in Celebs Go Dating’s third season include TOWIE’s Bobby Norris, TOWIE star James ‘Arg’ Argent, and X Factor’s Frankie Cocozza.

As for the girls, reality star Charlotte Dawson, TV presenter Sarah-Jane Crawford and Made In Chelsea’s Georgia Toffolo have all also been confirmed for the show.

Celebs Go Dating continues Thursday night at 10PM on E4.
