Love Island’s Mike Thalassitis has taken a swipe at Chris Hughes and Kem Cetinay.

Appearing at the TV Choice Awards, ‘Muggy’ Mike claimed that the fame from the show had gone to their heads.

He told the Press Association on his life since leaving the villa: “I’m still the same, got the same group of mates.

“Some people let it go to their heads, not going to mention any names… Chris and Kem, helmets the pair of them, but I’m not worried about them tonight.”

Mike’s comments follow Chris saying he HATES the fame appearing on the ITV2 show has brought.

Although that’s despite him and Kem signing up for their very own reality show.

The finalist on the latest series, who coupled up with now-girlfriend Olivia Attwood, has confessed he doesn’t enjoy being so easily recognised in the street.

“I hate it. I hate fame, straight up,” Chris said this week.

He told Star magazine: “I’m nice, so I smile all the time when people want photos, but I don’t enjoy it.

“I went for a haircut and there were 100 people waiting outside. Security had to get me out! I’ve never cared about attention, it’s not something I’m used to.”

And Chris admitted he longed for his quiet life back on his farm.

“I miss being at home,” he explained. “I’ve only been back once, for one day, since I’ve been back. I haven’t really seen my family or friends. It’s been so full-on since we’ve been out., so that quietness would be nice. ”

But rather than return home, Chris and Kem will start in their own reality series called Straight Outta Love Island, to air later this year.
