TOWIE’s Megan McKenna has gone straight to Number 1 on iTunes with her single.

It follows a three-part mini reality TV series on ITVBe, following her dreams of launching a country music career.

Called There’s Something About Megan, show saw the star of TOWIE and Ex On The Beach attempting to break the American country music industry.

Megan said of the three-part series: “I can’t wait to spend this summer in Nashville. I have been a country music fan my whole life so to go to the place where some of my favorite country music artists have recorded really is a dream come true.

“I’m excited but definitely a bit scared as I just don’t know what to expect. I’ve been dreaming about this since I was a little girl so this is my one big shot.”

Following the show, Megan’s single High Heeled Shoes is now Number 1 on iTunes and her second song Far Cry From Love is number two.

The tracks have pushed down Pink, Taylor Swift and Dua Lipa from the top spot.

“[This] is literally my dream come true!” Megan told fans on Twitter. “I can’t thank you all enough for downloading my music and supporting me throughout this journey!”

She added: “OMGGGGGG IM NUMBER 1 on itunes!!! Thankyou soooooooo much! I love you all!”

Earlier this week, former Britain’s Got Talent finalist Megan revealed she had been getting secret tips on cracking the music industry.

And her pal in the business is none other than X Factor judge Louis Walsh.

In fact, it was Louis who encouraged Megan to pursue her dream of becoming a country music star in new reality show There’s Something About Megan.

“Louis Walsh and I talk a lot about my music, and he’s really happy with how it’s going,” Megan said this week.

Speaking to The Sun at the TV Choice Awards, Megan continued: “Basically he actually was one of the people who said to me ages ago that I should go to Nashville and do a show.

“I’d love to get involved in X Factor, maybe – never say never. You never know what’s coming round the corner.”

She added: “I mean I’ve speaking to a lot of songwriters and producers.

“I thought it was quite cool that Now Music you know who do all the albums as they tweeted ‘do you think Megan could make it as a country star?’ It was so cool.”
