Jason Gardiner will return as a judge on Dancing On Ice 2018, it's been claimed.
But fellow former judge Karen Barber will NOT be returning, according to the latest reports.
ITV finally confirmed Dancing On Ice's return earlier this week with legendary skating duo Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean reuniting with original hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.
Torvill and Dean will both sit on a revamped ice panel alongside two additional judges, which ITV have yet to confirm.
The Sun newspaper says one of them will be Jason but Karen has not been invited back. Both were on the line up of judges when Dancing On Ice last aired in 2014.
A source told the tabloid: "It's likely to be a mix of old and new faces but it's unlikely at this stage that any of them will be Karen."
Meanwhile, a pal of Karen's added: "Understandably Karen is disappointed to have not received a contract yet - she loves Dancing On Ice and is incredibly excited to see it returning to TV and of course she'd love to be part of it.
"It's a bit of a kick in the teeth for Karen to see Jason Gardiner invited back and not her."
ITV said in a statement: "We will be confirming our additional judges in due course."
Speaking earlier this week after confirming Dancing On Ice's return, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean said: “We are thrilled that Dancing On Ice is returning to ITV next year and delighted to announce our new roles on the judging panel.
"The show struck such a huge chord with the viewers ever since it launched in 2006, with many of them taking up skating as a result.
"We can’t wait to be back on screen in 2018, with a bigger and better series for a brand new audience.”
Dancing On Ice will air on ITV from 2018.
