A new promo for this year's Strictly sees Alexandra lead the celebrity contestants and pros in a sing-along to the show's classic theme tune.
Host Tess Daly says in a voice over: "Feel the Strictly Effect on BBC One."
The BBC has announced the Strictly Come Dancing 2017 launch date will be next weekend. The pre-recorded launch show will be filmed this Tuesday, 5 September.
The launch date on TV will then be Saturday, September 9 at 7PM. The one-off show before the live stages will run until 8:40PM.
Alexandra is one of two X Factor stars on this year's line up and both are proving early favourites.
JLS singer Aston Merrygold remains the current top tip to waltz away with this year’s Glitterball trophy after continued support from punters pushing him from 11/4 into 2/1. Merrygold is known for his backflips during his energetic live performances and is well backed to be triumphant.
The JLS singer and former X Factor star faces stiff competition from old rival Alexandra Burke who is into 9/2 from 11/2 making her second favourite to win the show. The talented songstress is no stranger to live performances and is heavily backed by punters to take the title this. She surpassed The Saturdays star Mollie King who is out to 5/1 from 9/2.
The sequins and jazz hands will return to our screens on Saturday along with an array of other celebrities who will compete for the Glitterball Trophy.
Among them are Hollyoaks actress Gemma Atkinson who is out to 7/1 from 13/2, Eastenders star Davood Ghadami (10/1), newsreader Charlotte Hawkins (14/1) and magician’s assistant Debbie McGee (25/1). This Morning presenter Ruth Langsford is an outsider at 50/1.
BoyleSports spokesperson Yasmin Leonard said: “Before we’ve even seen anybody step foot on the dance floor, punters are already getting behind their Strictly favourites.
"We’ve seen floods of support for former X Factor stars Aston Merrygold (2/1) and Alexandra Burke (9/2) pushing them to the top of the betting."
Strictly launches on Saturday, September 9.
The live shows then begin on Saturday, September 23.
