She's known by millions as the creator behind the over the top glamorous Gypsy wedding dresses - and now Thelma Madine has landed her very own show. The series, which will air on Channel 4 just like Big Gypsy Weddings, will see Thelma training youngsters to make dresses.
The reality series, which sounds to use a bit inspired by The Apprentice, will begin filming next month according to The Mirror. The series will see 15 gypsy girls learn how to make the famous frocks that have featured in the original Gypsy series.
The 'winner' of the series will get a job at Thelma's Liverpool boutique Nico.
Thelma told the newspaper: “We will have a little factory and I will train the girls up. Gypsy girls don’t normally have jobs but with me they have a chance to see how their dresses were made.”
More than 8 million watched the original Channel 4 series back in January.
