Celebrity Big Brother 2017 concluded its latest series with 1.6 million viewers last night.
The live show averaged 1.6 million between 9PM and 10:45PM live on Channel 5, peaking with an audience of 1.9 million as the winner was revealed.
A bumper edition of Bit On The Side straight after averaged 600,000 viewers.
As usual, the summer run was much lower than the winter series earlier in the year, with January's All Stars run ending with 2.2 million.
Compared to previous summer series, the final was the least watched yet falling just below 2015's 1.7 million viewers where James Hill won. 2016's summer final had 1.8 million viewers with Stephen Bear being crowned the winner.
And overall, based on overnight figures, this summer's Celebrity Big Brother goes down as the least watched to date.
However numbers did generally increase throughout the run, climbing after Trisha Paytas walked out after 11 days.
But Friday and Saturday's episodes dragged the average down.
Friday's live eviction shows started earlier than usual at 8:30PM, clashing with ITV's soaps as well as MasterChef on BBC One.
And on Saturday, the highlights episode was pushed back to 10:30PM due to football highlights. The first Saturday episode of the series had just 800,000 viewers, Celebrity Big Brother's lowest ever rating. From the second week, the Saturday episode was also aired on 5Star from 9PM.
Celebrity Big Brother will return to Channel 5 in January for what will be its 21st series.
