Rounding off the starting line up are X Factor winner turned West End star Alexandra Burke, Paralympian Jonnie Peacock, and Debbie McGee, TV personality, presenter and the widow of magician Paul Daniels.

JLS singer Aston has been installed as the early favourite with the bookies alongside his former X Factor rival Alexandra.

Alex beat JLS to victory in the 2008 final of The X Factor - could he get revenge on Strictly?

Others tipped to do well include The Saturdays' singer Mollie and actress Gemma.

At the other end of the scale, bookies don't rate Ruth's odds making her the 50/1 shot to triumph.

Of course we've got a long way to go yet.

Right now the celebs are in early rehearsals ahead of their first dance in next month's launch show.

There they will find out their pro partners before heading into three weeks of intense training with the live shows starting later this year.
