Charlotte Hawkins has been named as the eleventh celebrity on the Strictly Come Dancing 2017 line up.
The Good Morning Britain presenter revealed the news live on air this morning on ITV.
Charlotte said: "I am so thrilled to be one of the contestants on Strictly this year! I've always been a big fan of the show.
"It is a dream come true to be taking part and I'll be following in the footsteps of my Good Morning Britain colleagues.
"I'm looking forward to stepping out from behind the news desk to cha-cha-cha my way across the dancefloor!"
Before joining ITV, Charlotte worked at Sky News for seven years on Sunrise with Eamonn Holmes and also hosted her own daily show of breaking news and interviews.
Charlotte follows in the footsteps of co star Susanna Reid who finished as runner up on the show in 2013.
Before Charlotte, the latest name confirmed for Strictly was comedian Brian Conley who joined fellow comic Susan Calman.
Charlotte, Susan and Brian joins a growing list of celebrity contestants on the new series, with eleven names now officially confirmed.
JLS singer Aston Merrygold was announced last week, joining TV host and Chef Simon Rimmer, best-known for being the chef and co-presenter on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch.
There's also actor Joe McFadden, best-known for playing the role of Raffaello ‘Raf’ di Lucca in BBC One’s medical drama, Holby City, and The Saturdays' singer Mollie King who became the very first name officially confirmed for the Strictly Come Dancing 2017 cast last Monday.
Actor Davood Ghadami became the next name to be revealed on the Strictly line up by the BBC. Best known for his role as Kush Kazemi in EastEnders.
On Wednesday, host of ITV's This Morning and regular Loose Women panellist Ruth Langsford became the third name to be announced for the show while Thursday saw Actress Gemma Atkinson confirmed.
Alongside those officially announced, rumoured celebs for the new series include Debbie McGee, Gogglebox stars Steph and Dom Parker, Olympic gymnast Max Whitlock and footballer Frank Lampard.
There's also X Factor winner Alexandra Burke, Paralympian Ellie Simmonds, Robot Wars host Angela Scanlon, Bros singer Matt Goss, comic Joel Dommett and marathon runner Paula Radcliffe.
Strictly Come Dancing will start on BBC One in September.
The rumoured start date is Saturday, September 9.
