A possible Girls Aloud reunion is said to be a no go following Sarah Harding's Celebrity Big Brother appearance.
Sources had claimed that Sarah was hoping the girls could get back together soon following their split back in 2013.
But her rather turbulent time in the Celebrity Big Brother has supposedly ruled any potential comeback out.
An insider told The Sun newspaper: “In the back of her mind Sarah was hoping her comeback on CBB could spark a surge of interest in the band getting back together.
“Girls Aloud have a huge fanbase who would love to see a reunion. But if concerns over her reliability were high before she went in the house, they’ve gone through the roof now.”
Speaking before entering the CBB house, Sarah discussing a possible Girls Aloud reunion: "It would be a group decision, so you'd have to ask as a whole, not just me," she said. "I love reminiscing and looking at our old tour footage because we were in a bubble.
"Touring for me was probably one of my favourite parts of being in Girls Aloud. Not the rehearsals, mind - but getting out here, meeting fans and performing. That's why I do what I do."
She added: "I didn't do it for the game, I did it because I genuinely love performing, singing and entertaining. It's all I've wanted to do since I was a little girl."
During her time on Celebrity Big Brother, Sarah has often spoken of her days in Girls Aloud and confessed recently she hadn't seen much of her former bandmates.
“It’s so hard to catch up with any of them, really. Everyone has got their own thing going on," Sarah explained. "Three of them have got families now... I haven’t seen or heard from one of them for forever. I don’t know where she’s gone.”
And in another episode of CBB, Sarah also discussed her 'feud' with Cheryl on the show as well.
Asked if they fell out, Sarah said: "Everyone asks that. It's just that we’re so busy with our own stuff... It’s not for me to say, honestly.
"I don’t like talking about the other girls”, she replied when fellow housemate Jemma Lucy asked if they are still friends. "We were like sisters, so it was never going to be plain sailing the whole time.
"I've been around girls all the time, it's difficult sometimes.
"Nothing's forever. We went through a lot together, nothing lasts forever, we went through so much.
"Even if we had fallen out I'm sure it wouldn't be a major deal in the future."
Celebrity Big Brother continues nightly on Channel 5.
