Ratings for last night's Celebrity Big Brother were up, despite the false claims made by fans of Trisha Paytas.
Following her exit on Friday night, walking out after just 11 days, Trisha suggested ratings would plummet without her.
"You're welcome for the ratings #cbb PEACE OUT," Trisha had declared after leaving, claiming she had boosted numbers.
This morning, Trisha then retweeted the fake claim that: "The views on CBB went down so much since you've left."
In fact, the first episode without Trisha was up on both recent episodes and the past Sunday instalment.
Last night's highlights averaged over 1.2 million viewers, a rise of 200,000 on Saturday's average across 5Star and Channel 5 and up 100,000 on Friday's eviction show.
It's also up around 100,000 viewers on last Sunday night's figure.
In reality, Trisha's appearance on the show did sod all for ratings either before or after her exit.
Despite boasting however many Instagram followers, few of them actually seemed to tune in - a fact proven by Trisha falling into the bottom two of the public vote before she walked out.
Overall the current series of Celebrity Big Brother as a whole remains well down in last year, averaging 1.9 million viewers based on official consolidated figures for the first week.
That makes it the joint least watched series ever with 2015's UK v US Celebrity series.
For now, the show continues tonight at 9PM on Channel 5. The final takes place on Friday, August 25.
