JLS singer Aston Merrygold has been tipped to join the Strictly Come Dancing 2017 line up.
It's despite the performer having years of dance experience, including appearing as a judge on Sky1 show Got To Dance.
Although that of course didn't stop Louise Redknapp who took part last year having also been a judge on a similar show, So You Think You Can Dance.
"It doesn’t have to be ballroom or Latin dancing experience to give someone an edge," a source told The Sun newspaper today. “Aston spent years being choreographed in JLS and that rhythm and ability to follow instructions puts him streets ahead of competitors.
“And if there was ever proof he knows a thing or two about dancing, he was a judge in a dance talent show.”
If the rumours prove true, it could mean JLS' Aston competing alongside fellow X Factor star Alexandra Burke who is also tipped for Strictly this year. The pair both took part in The X Factor in 2008 with Alex beating JLS in the final.
Right now the BBC has so far confirmed five names for the Strictly Come Dancing 2017 line up.
