"I'm literally so excited to learn latin and ballroom dancing, and of course I can’t wait to get into the sequins too! It’s going to be a lot of hard work but I'm ready for the challenge.”

More celebs will confirmed regularly over the next few weeks until the show's launch show which will be filmed on Tuesday 5 September.

Rumoured celebs for the new series include comic Brian Conley, Dame Joan Collins, Good Morning Britain presenter Charlotte Hawkins, Gogglebox stars Steph and Dom Parker, Olympic gymnast Max Whitlock and footballer Frank Lampard.

There's also X Factor winner Alexandra Burke, Paralympian Ellie Simmonds, Robot Wars host Angela Scanlon, Bros singer Matt Goss, comic Joel Dommett and marathon runner Paula Radcliffe.
