Five Star Hotel saw a celebrities line up running a hotel – but who won the E4 show?

The new show allowed fans to “brush shoulders with the stars and be welcomed in to a wonderland of fun and sunshine.”

The series follow a team of celebrities as they took on the challenge of delivering 5 Star Service at a boutique Mediterranean hotel.

Those making up the original cast were Made In Chelsea’s Spencer Matthew alongside TOWIE’s Joey Essex and Lydia Bright.

Also taking part were Geordie Shore’s Holly Hagan and Ex On The Beach’s Ashley Cain.

However Ashley left after the fist week, replaced by reality regular Charlotte Dawson.

Holly was also then given the boot before ex-Apprentice star and Celebrity Big Brother candidate James Hill joined.

In Friday evening’s final episode, all eyes were on the coveted Employee of the Season trophy.

The celebs vied for improved ratings at the end of season party. The final guests check out and it was time for the winner to be announced.

And it was Spencer who was named ‘Employee Of The Season’, winning Five Star Hotel’s first series.

The series will be voiced by writer and comedian, Russell Kane.

The air date for Five Star Hotel is Monday-Fridays at 10PM on E4.

The show will air each weeknight over three weeks.

As the team of celebrities wait on the guests hand and foot, endeavour to deliver top notch service and answer any complaints, will they be able to provide all that is asked of them?

From arranging stag parties on yachts to unforgettable excursions, the celebs will have their hands full as they juggle everything that is thrown at them.

As the guests make the most of their summer holiday they will rate the celebrity staff and with the calibre of their work under constant scrutiny the pressure will be on the stars to keep standards high.

The celebrities will have to work together to show their guests a good time and make sure they don’t fail on the specific and sometimes demanding requests thrown at them in order to keep their Five Star rating.

As the temperatures rise in the Mediterranean, will the celebrities be able to keep their cool under pressure? Will anyone find some summer loving? And will they manage to get up in time to serve breakfast?

Channel 4 Head of Formats Dom Bird’s Dom Bird said: “What could be better than a summer break in the sun, with all your needs taken care of by a team of celebrities? E4 is delighted to be opening the doors of the Five Star Hotel to our viewers. The only thing we can’t guarantee is the quality of the service…”
