Celebrity Big Brother 2017 kicked off yesterday with its lowest launch numbers ever.
The latest summer series - and landmark 20th overall - started with an average audience of 1.8 million viewers, peaking with 2.2 million viewers.
It's the first time a CBB launch has dipped below 2 million viewers and follows the least watched BBUK run.
The numbers for CBB are down 600,000 on last year's summer launch and also 500,000 below on the latest All Star series which aired in January.
However - as one would have hoped - it's well up on the recent figures of Big Brother which ended with 900,000 watching last week's final.
