Sinitta may join the Celebrity Big Brother 2017 line up following a last minute drop out.

Real Housewives of Cheshire star Dawn Ward is said to have quit Celebrity Big Brother TODAY just hours before launch night.

It's apparently left producers desperate to find a last minute replacement.

“Dawn has decided not to take part in the show at the very last minute," a source told The Sun newspaper. “She may have done reality TV in the past but she got cold feet about doing CBB.

“The shows bosses are desperately trying to find someone to fill her boots – which will be a hard task considering she’s such a character.”

However it seems as though a replacement could be found in the form of Sinitta - who originally didn't want to enter the house because of her 'rival' Dawn.

Sinitta and Dawn are said to have fallen out two years ago in a row over a mutual friend.

Simon Cowell's bestie told the Daily Star before today's news: "I know Dawn is going into the house, but thank God I am not.

"I did ask for 24-hour security as I have been hit once in my life and I did not want to be hit again.

"I just wish Dawn all the best. I won’t be watching as I will be doing other things."

With Dawn now out of the line up, it's claimed Sinita could be back in the frame for a place in the house.

A source told The Sun: "Sinitta made a long list of demands to producers but now Dawn has gone, she’s willing to drop her requests for bodyguards to look over her 24/7.

“Sinitta is a huge name for the show and she would be absolutely fantastic in the house.”

Others expected on this year's line up are Girls Aloud's Sarah Harding YouTuber Trisha Paytas, X Factor's Amelia Lily, Gogglebox’s Sandi Bogle, TV psychic Derek Acorah and Absolutely Fabulous star Helen Lederer.

The first celebrities began arriving at the house earlier today ahead of tomorrow's live show.

Celebrity Big Brother 2017 launches on Tuesday, August 1 at 9PM on Channel 5.
