Live feed will be back for Celebrity Big Brother 2017, at least on launch night.
Live feed has been cut time and time again from Big Brother ever since end of the 24/7 streams many years back.
The latest 'civilian' series had originally aired short stints of live feed after the eviction shows but even this was eventually dropped.
However this post live show live feed will return for Celebrity Big Brother on launch night.
Live From The House will air from midnight on Tuesday night, following the launch show and first Celebrity Big Brother's Bit On The Side with Rylan Clark-Neal.
How regular live feed will continue to be throughout the rest of the series - expected to run for four weeks - remains to be seen.
Celebrity Big Brother 2017 begins at 9PM on August as the celebrity housemates move into a revamped house styled to become "the country's top celeb retreat".
"Our celebrities will take a break from their hectic schedules," teased Channel 5, "Here they can let down their guard and unwind away from the paparazzi. It's sure to be holiday heaven for some celebrities and a holiday from hell for others."
They continued: "The Big Brother house is undergoing a complete redesign ready for its new star guests. It will become a high end retreat inspired by celeb hotel hang-outs.
"But while the celebs kick back and let their hair down, Big Brother never takes a day off – after all, he wants to ensure that the celebrities will have an experience that they will NEVER forget!"
Although not confirmed, the leaked Celebrity Big Brother housemates line up includes Girls Aloud's Sarah Harding, YouTuber Trisha Paytas, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Brandi Glanville and X Factor's Amelia Lily.
The show will kick off with its live opener on TUESDAY, August 1 at 9PM.
