Daytime TV legend Jeremy Kyle is said to have offered Mike the chance to clear up the rumours he slept with fellow contestant Jessica Shears following their exits.
The Sun says however that Mike has declined the offer to appear on The Jeremy Kyle Show, which airs on ITV on weekday mornings.
A 'friend of Mike's' told the newspaper: “He’s never going to do it. It’s too low rent for Mike.
“He’s got bigger stuff going on.”
Both Mike and Jess denied they had hooked up after being eliminated from the show together.
Dominic Lever had been partnered up with Jess on the show and was keen to get answers when he confronted both Jess and Mike on Love Island's spin-off Aftersun.
Dom met up with Mike, who said: "To be fair we did get closer, but in a friend way."
"I'll give you the benefit of the doubt," Dom replied.
Dom decided to brush off the rumours and stay with Jess on the outside.
The pair have since announced big plans, revealing they'll be buying a house together.
"We're going to buy in Manchester and rent in London," Dom said.
After Sun host Caroline Flack felt it was a bit too soon but Dom insisted: "We need bases."
Watching on, a number of viewers were not buying any of it.
"Also how uncomfortable and unnatural are Jess and Dom together? Clearly faking for air time and the dollar #loveisland," one concluded.
Love Island 2017 continues nightly on ITV2.
