Love Island 2017 couples learn to tango and go dress shopping for prom

Love Island 2017: Kem learning to dance.

It's the Love Island 2017 prom in the live final tonight.

In highlights from yesterday in the villa to be shown this evening, two dancers arrived at the villa to give the couples a lesson in tango dancing.

For some of the couples, the lesson proved fruitful in more ways than one, with Amber confessing: “The chemistry, the connection, really taking it seriously. I was turned on a bit actually.”

Others fared less well though, with Camilla admitting: “Jamie and I had a couple of hiccups. He may have accidentally punched me in the stomach and I accidentally head butted him.”

Meanwhile, Marcel’s moves definitely got caught Gabby’s eye, but perhaps not in the way intended, as she remarked: “Marcel just kept thrusting. I’m like ‘mate, you’re definitely sexually frustrated.”

Later, to prepare for the night ahead, the four girls were whisked out of the villa for an afternoon of pampering, indulgence… and a few questionable outfit choices.

A text arrived informing Camilla of the plan ahead: "Girls, it’s now time to go shopping for your prom dress. Please get ready to leave the villa. #promqueens #allaboutthedress"

As they set about finding their dream dresses, there are a few clangers to contend with first, when Olivia emerged from the dressing room looking less than impressed with her dress.

Cringing with horror, she declared: “Do you know what the saddest part of this dress is? I feel like Chris would actually like it. The end of my social life and sex life in one dress.”

The choices didn’t fare much better for Gabby or Camilla.

Camilla’s tight and tarty orange number got the thumbs down, as she admitted: “This is not prom. This is more Pretty Woman than prom.”

Olivia meanwhile told Gabby: “You look like a piece of pork wrapped at the butchers.”

Meanwhile, the boys back in the villa had to write speeches for their girls to read out at the prom.

Love Island 2017 airs tonight at 9PM on ITV2.
