There are tears on Love Island 2017 tonight as Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt's parents meet.
In this evening's episode, Amber gets a text: “Islanders, it’s time for the ultimate relationship test. #parentalguidance #meettheinlaws”
Jamie reacts: “I feel a little bit emotional. It’s weird I’ve only been here a couple of weeks, it’s going to be funny to see my parents come in.”
And Camilla gets very nervous as her parents and Jamie’s parents enter the villa, prompting lots of tears and hugs as they reunite.
Camilla talks to her mum and dad. Her mum tells her that the family and Grandma have been watching: “Apparently she’s got the subtitles on.
"She did phone one evening and say, ‘I can’t really chat because I want to get back and watch the last bit,’” which makes Camilla laugh.
Camilla’s dad adds: “It’s so nice to see you with someone who is making you happy.”
Camilla’s mum then gets teary and starts to cry: “I just think it’s such a brave thing to have done. It’s very strange when I think that you’ve been off to these places to work and yet on the outside, this is lounging about in a villa in the sun all day, what is so brave about that? But it is such a brave thing to have done.”
Jamie’s parents then meet Camilla’s parents. Jamie’s mum shares her favourite moment and says it was when Jamie made Camilla’s birthday breakfast.
Camilla’s mum adds: “Actually I thought that Sausage Fest challenge was quite fun!”
Later in the Beach Hut, Jamie says: “It was really weird meeting Cam’s parents, it’s their daughter and you want to do right by the daughter and you want to make sure you are looking after her.
"I just hope that they liked me.”
Love Island 2017 airs tonight at 9PM on ITV2.
