Love Island 2017 viewers have turned on Montana Brown after tonight's episode.
A former fan favourite, Montana's bitching about Gabby Allen in tonight's show saw her odds of winning seemingly drop like a stone.
After news of an impending eviction was revealed to the Islanders, Montana confidently declared that it would be Gabby and Marcel Somerville who were likely to leave.
Unawares, Gabby heard everything.
She insisted she didn't mind in a chat with Marcel, Jamie and Camilla, saying: "I'm f**king over it, you can say what you want. Everybody's entitled to their opinion. If that's what she wants to say to people then fine... at the end of the day, I know who my real friends are in here."
Many fans have been quick to turn on Montana with one writing: "I'm SO disappointed in how annoying Montana turned out to be especially with only a couple of episodes left #LoveIsland"
Another agreed: "Used to love Montana but can't STAND her now, goes to show that people always show their true colours in the end #LoveIsland"
And a third concluded: "I genuinely feel like Montana has personally let me down by becoming such a snake #loveisland"
Montana's comments followed a row between her and Gabby that ended in tears over lunch.
The girls spoke about the Lie Detector test results from the night before, with Gabby admitting she had been upset about her results.
She then told the girls: "I just felt like when I came out, I would have a strong support system. There was definitely some people that had my back but it was, basically really cold.”
Montana then brought up the recent Tweet challenge where she discovered that Gabby had sent text messages about her to Marcel.
Montana commented: “It was hard for me to back you in that situation because of the whole thing that happened with the tweet challenge. I thought about it and I felt like my feelings towards you were compromised then because it couldn’t have been something good on the text.”
Amber added: “I didn’t understand why you wouldn’t just say it out loud, why would it be done over text?”
Gabby answered: “I don’t want to have any confrontation with anyone, I hate it. I didn’t want to say it out loud because there were people around and I felt like I had to get something off my chest and that was the only way I could have done it at that moment in time.”
Montana replied: “It’s just so much more calculating, rather than just debating it with Marcel… In this situation, you never know what’s being said behind your back you just have to trust the person.”
Gabby got upset and started to cry: “I don’t even care about my feelings when it comes to this, but that is not what I wanted to come back from the test. That is not what I wanted to hear in the tweet challenge.”
“I come to the fire pit and ask for advice and we already know what had been said in the test and what questions I failed on and then I felt like [you kept reminding me.]
"I was like, ‘Guys I know that, I’m trying to fix this, I’m trying to move forward.’ I felt like it was dig, dig, dig and I felt like I had no one.”
Love Island 2017 continues nightly on ITV2.
