Love Island 2017 contestant Jamie Jewitt has been accused of dumping his girlfriend two hours before entering the villa.

The model is said to have told producers he was single in order to get onto the show.

He then allegedly ditched his partner by phone just two hours before flying out to Spain for the ITV2 series,

A friend of his supposed ex-girlfriend told The Sun newspaper: “He’s a total scumbag. He’s broken her heart. One night they were sat watching Love Island together, slagging off all the girls. Five days later he was in the villa trying to bed them. It made her feel worthless.

“To make sure he got the part she thinks Jamie let producers believe he was not in a relationship."

The friend added to the tabloid: “One moment they were in a relationship the next he was off chasing other women on national TV."

And they revealed: "When she discovered Jamie and Camilla had slept together she was completely gutted."

The reports follow Jamie's former co-star and recent Big Brother housemate Georgina Leigh Cantwell issuing a warning to Camilla Thurlow.

"I know Jamie inside out and he can charm the back legs off a donkey," she said.

Chatting to The Sun newspaper, Georgina alleged: “He is so lovely girls throw themselves at him, but he cheats on all his girlfriends. He’s a love rat and will admit it himself. He loves women and can’t help himself."

And the reality star, who appeared with Jamie in E4 series Taking New York, added: “Camilla should be careful as she isn’t exciting enough to change him - she is too boring and sweet to keep his attention.

"He needs snapping into shape and Camilla isn’t the right person to do that.”

It's not great news for Camilla, who has so far struggled to find love in the villa and had been the only single original islander.

Love Island 2017 continues nightly on ITV2.
