Celebrity Big Brother 2017's summer start date has been officially confirmed.
Channel 5 has announced that Celebrity Big Brother: Summer 2017 launches on Channel 5 in August.
The show will kick off on TUESDAY, August 1 at 9PM.
That's less than a week after the Big Brother final which will take place on Friday, July 28.
In a teaser released today, alongside a new look eye, Channel 5 said: "This summer, our celebrities will take a break from their hectic schedules for a stay in the country's top celeb retreat - the Celebrity Big Brother house.
"Here they can let down their guard and unwind away from the paparazzi. It's sure to be holiday heaven for some celebrities and a holiday from hell for others."
They added: "The Big Brother house is undergoing a complete redesign ready for its new star guests. It will become a high end retreat inspired by celeb hotel hang-outs.
"But while the celebs kick back and let their hair down, Big Brother never takes a day off – after all, he wants to ensure that the celebrities will have an experience that they will NEVER forget!"
They added: "The Big Brother house is undergoing a massive change to get summer ready for its new celebrity guests! Stay tuned for more information next week."
Channel 5 have also confirmed Celebrity Big Brother's Bit On the Side will return weeknights with Rylan Clark-Neal. Joining him will be a variety of celebrity panellists, talking heads and an audience of CBB fans to debate hot topics, reveal exclusives and go behind the scenes of the main show.
It's expected that the summer series of Celebrity Big Brother will run for up to four weeks, potentially finishing in the first week of September.
A number of celebs have been linked to the Celebrity Big Brother 2017 cast including Coronation Street star Shobna Gulati, ex EastEnders actor (and Big Brother's Bit On The Side regular) Shaun Williamson and Made In Chelsea's Sam Thompson.
Although no names are ever confirmed before launch, an apparent leaked Celebrity Big Brother 2017 line up for the summer series was revealed at the weekend.
Those set to join the CBB house are TOWIE star Pete Wicks, Geordie Shore's Nathan Henry, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Brandi Glanville, Girls Aloud's Sarah Harding, TV presenter John Leslie and X Factor's Amelia Lily.
Joining them are Gogglebox’s Sandi Bogle, Ex On The Beach star Jemma Lucy and 'Human Ken doll' Rodrigo Alves
Further rumoured names including Absolutely Fabulous star Helen Lederer and reality star Jordan Davies
Also rumoured for CBB 2017's lineup have been reality star and Hollyoaks actor Paul Danan and Real Housewives of Cheshire star Ester Dee.
Of course, as always, no names are ever confirmed until the celebrity housemates step into the house on launch night.
For now, Big Brother continues nightly on Channel 5 with it final this Friday night.
