Big Brother 2017: Isabelle spends prize money on a phone call from home

Isabelle Warburton has finally got to speak to her family on Big Brother 2017.

After missing out in the recent 'temptations' task, Isabelle was offered the chance to get a phone call home - at a price.

She sacrificed £150 of the prize fund for the chat in the Diary Room.

"We're so proud, we've had so many family and friends just keep on messaging saying how proud we should be," Isabelle's mum said down the phone.

She added: "We want you to enjoy every minute, we're still here. We can't wait to see you. Just enjoy every second."

Yesterday was the start of a brand new prize money twist, The Steal.

BB announced that housemates would be split into two teams, competing for £20,000 of the prize fund.

Andrew, Ellie, Hannah, Isabelle, Kieran and Sam are in the GOLD Team while Chanelle, Charlotte, Deborah, Raph and Tom are the BLACK team.

"The two teams must sleep in separate bedrooms. All friendships made in the house so far, must be kept to one side," Big Brother continued, "Your own focus now is to earn back the money for your team."

The first task saw Tom and Hannah do battle in a disgusting eating challenge for £2,000.

Later, the second task involved Andrew and Raph as Big Brother gathered them in the task room behind two podiums as the other housemates watched on.

They were told time is money in a test of nerves as Big Brother started to read out sums of cash.

If they buzzed in, the cash would be theirs but they could only buzz once and if they waited too long, they'd get nothing.

We'll have to wait until tonight's highlights show to see how the tasks panned out.

Big Brother 2017 airs tonight at 10PM on Channel 5.
