Time is money in Big Brother 2017's latest prize fund task.

Earlier today, Big Brother introduced new prize fund twist 'The Steal'.

BB announced that housemates would be split into two teams, competing for £20,000 of the prize fund.

Andrew, Ellie, Hannah, Isabelle, Kieran and Sam are in the GOLD Team while Chanelle, Charlotte, Deborah, Raph and Tom are the BLACK team.

"The two teams must sleep in separate bedrooms. All friendships made in the house so far, must be kept to one side," Big Brother continued, "Your own focus now is to earn back the money for your team.

The first task saw Tom and Hannah do battle in a disgusting eating challenge for £2,000.

Tonight, the second task involved Andrew and Raph.

Big Brother gathered them in the task room behind two podiums as the other housemates watched on.

Big Brother explained to the pair: "Raph and Andrew on the sound of the klaxon, you will hear Big Brother start to announce amounts of money.

"These amounts will continue to increase in value. In front of you is a buzzer. You can buzz in and claim the money being offered at any time. But you can only buzz once.

"But it you wait too long without buzzing in, and you hear the second klaxon, neither of you will win anything for your team's pots."

Big Brother then started to announce amounts: £105, £280, £560, and £1,323.

We'll have to wait until Monday night's highlights show to see how it pans out.

Big Brother 2017 continues nightly on Channel 5.

Monday's episode airs at 9PM.
