Sam Gowland could find himself being back in the friend zone on Love Island 2017.
Sam made his return to the villa alongside Muggy Mike on last night's show having previously been evicted by the Islanders.
While Mike's return prompts a lot of excitement, the reaction to Sam's comeback is rather more subdued.
After their first night, in this evening's episode Mike and Sam are by the fire pit, debriefing on who they fancy – they both agree they have eyes for Georgia and Tyla.
However Sam has a tough task winning either of them around as they both admit to fancying Mike.
The next day, Sam spends time with Georgia and Tyla.
After their chat, Tyla confides in Amber: "I don’t know how to put it but I feel like it’s always very banterful and childish."
Georgia admits that Sam isn't her type on paper but his humour does begin to win her around.
“He’s actually really had me laughing since he’s got in here," she says in the beach hut.
As for Sam himself, he tells the beach hut: “I’m not putting no eggs in that basket, or whatever they all say, types on paper.
"My eggs are just coming out the chicken at the minute, we just keep collecting and then for some lucky girl, tomorrow it’s going to be Easter and they’ll be going in her basket.”
Love Island 2017 airs tonight at 9PM on ITV2
